Midwest Regional Sales Manager
BTX is seeking an outside technical salesperson who is tuned in to the Midwest territory and possesses a strong knowledge of the A/V and/or broadcast markets. This person will be relied upon to broaden our relationship with our current integration and OEM customers as well as to develop new accounts. Candidate must have the ability to interact successfully with all layers of a customer’s business, providing support to departments from engineering to sales to purchasing and administration. Building and maintaining long term relationships is key.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to uncover new business and project-related opportunities are critical. As BTX is a CTS Certified company, CTS certification or willingness to obtain that certification through BTX is a must. Broad technical knowledge of systems and components is essential to communicate with our customers. Specific product training is provided on an ongoing basis.

Territory to be covered includes IL, WI, IN, MI, OH and KY. This is a developed territory with huge additional potential. Candidates residing anywhere within this territory will be considered. We offer a base salary plus commission compensation package and excellent benefits with great growth potential. Requirements:

• Prior sales  experience in AV, broadcast or closely related  industry.  
• Prior  experience selling in the Midwest  territory.  
• Technical  industry knowledge.  
• CTS  Certification or willingness to obtain.  
• Excellent  communication and organization skills.
